About Steve
Steve grew up in the restaurant business, learning to manage and lead people in a high-pressure environment. As a successful restaurant owner Steve was required to develop his business and strategic acumen, making him a trusted advisor to leaders and managers.
Steve holds a Professional Coaching Certification (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation and a Certified Lean Practitioner with the Six Sigma Global Institute. He is also a certified trainer in Crucial Conversations.
Steve helps leaders and managers develop the following capabilities: managing people, coaching and developing others, handling difficult conversations, building and leading teams, servant leadership, and change leadership.
Steve’s clients include Fidelity National Title Group, Novo Nordisk, Amway, Kaplan CFO Solutions and Asheville Independent Restaurants, to name a few.
Steve guided for the U.S. Paralympic Team, guiding two visually impaired Nordic skiers in two Olympics. He was also a senior mountaineering guide for the Pacific Crest Outward Bound School.
Steve lives in Asheville, North Carolina with his two soccer passionate children and wife, Copland. Steve is also a current board member for Asheville’s local SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) chapter.
